tomwcarr: What ever happened to the various projects that were working on start timers? We need one that beeps loudly.

jjcote: Got busy with summertime stuff. I have the schematics done, and I need to send them to Alan for circuit board layout. Thanks for the reminder.

walk: Any test units available for Saturday?

#  Posted 2007-09-17 07:00:11
jjcote: Nope. I might be able to get you one that would be adequate for your needs on Sunday, though. :-)

walk: Sunday's the relay! Not needed.

#  Posted 2007-09-17 07:11:46
jjcote: Yes, that's why what I have right now (vaporware) would suffice.

#  Posted 2007-09-17 07:18:50
walk: As long as it's not an illicit substance form of vapor.

cedarcreek: I will be able to bring one of Brian's (k4bri's) timers to the Sprint Finals. I saw it over the weekend, and it looks pretty neat. Tom---how loudly? Brian's has a 3.5mm jack for an external PA.

walk: If you can bring one, that would be great! Will it do 30 second intervals? PA jack? Does it make its own noise or do we need more?

#  Posted 2007-09-18 20:01:47
cedarcreek: It does 30 second intervals. It does have a PA jack, but it also makes its own noise. It's probably loud enough.

walk: Perfect. Thanks.
