Great video; yay! I'm impressed you were able to do all of the things that you did with it. I had a great time following you, and I probably learned from the opportunity to cover the course again, and see you move through it. I'm happy to do it again, anytime!
Was there any talk about how far back you should follow? I was wondering if Rebecca wanted a set distance?
@FFS: Yayy!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I would love for you to do it again!
@PS: The only instruction I had in that regard was for Julie to give me some space when I went into a control, so that I wouldn't turn around and run into her. I don't know if she had a particular distance in mind, but I'm guessing it depended on the terrain a bit. However she chose her distance-- the footage worked out well!
I ran just about as close as I could. I'm glad it turned out good footage
I enjoyed the one or two times where Julie got caught on camera for a second or two, just sort of chilling while you entered/exited a control. Sort of like Where's Waldo :)
I'd also be happy to be a GoPro follower sometime, if the need for someone else happens to arise.
That is what I looked like!
I actually didn't recognize myself. I was like, I don't remember any Cascade folk so close to us. Doh! That's me.
Woo hoo! @BigWilly: That's convenient that you offered before I asked! :) I thought that Lincoln Tree Farm might be a good opportunity, since it being a "long" I won't have time to wait for Julie to finish, plus you'd be able to witness the madness you created first-hand.
Although I'm theoretically launching the Cascade site that week, so perhaps I had better not tempt myself with another fun distraction.
