& losing concentration - might write it off to transitioning.
Hayward to Tuscon is a big change. 14k of rocky footing under high grass (like trippy stuff hidden by bracken) add to the challenge.

I also heard that Arizona had the highest incidence of Flu in country. Not sure what I have, but lots of time in bed.

Geez.....Good thing this 'flu' didn't come over you LAST Friday, while you were driving up to Cable and the Birkie. Rest easy; sleep it off.

Yep , I have had ruined a few Birkies and yes I have just spent most of the last 48 hours in bed. Feeling better today but missing a 3 hour score down here in the heat.
Will make the sprints tomorrow at Papago Park with nefhews in tow .
