I hate to think what your toilet looks like.
Shows how much people try with running versus cycling. There is a Strava running segment up the North St hill (basically from the junction south of #7 on today's course up through #16 to the next junction) and I'm third fastest overall out of 214, despite having to stop and punch a control halfway up.
Apparently, there are run segments in it too.
Craig uses Strava for running - why else do you think he knew about Strava.
@tRicky - same down here in Albany, 100s of cycle segments and all sorts of keenness to go fast for segments from time to time, but there are about half a dozen people who inadvertently use Strava for running. I think most people hurt when they run fast so they choose to 'just run' - whereas cycling you just need a nice tailwind or truck draft and can claim a KOM.
It does motivate though, and track progress - certainly when I was restarting riding again after the moon boot phases it was nice to see Strava actually automatically reminding me I was progressing even though I felt awful.
Ya the motivational factor is high.
I was motivated to close my account today.
yeah craig was getting dangerously close to catching you on may drive - guess you pulled out just in time
That time of mine was just from a leisurely morning ride one day. Certainly no Strava motivation back then.
yeah ok - I am sure since 2011 you would have gone up may drive hard once - but assuming you never have its still the best you had on that segment :P
