Any idea who's racing for Sweden?

I won't list them all but it is a full women's team including Kalla and Nilsson. I believe three in top ten is the goal. The men's team is weak and they are not sending a full team (not enough good skiers) but Hellner has finally returned and is hoping for a top 10 placing. The rest of the men will have a tough time placing well. Top 30? With Olsson, Richardsson, Nelson doing other things, Halvarsson sick and Hellner just back the expectations are low (and will be so for a few years). Norway will dominate both. Sweden, Finland and US will fight well among the women while Russia, Harvey and a couple of Frenchmen will try to beat at least a few Norwegians in the men's category. The first sprint may see some other names and nations but they will not last an entire tour.

What are the "other things" that these guys are doing? Injured or World Loppets?

Nelson retired. Richardsson is in the long loppet tour and so is Olsson although Vasaloppet will be his first race for the season.

Actually not even Vasaloppet for Johan Olsson. This has been this seasons only goal but he had to withdraw after realising that his body isnĀ“t made for that much double poling causing injuries again :(
Instead he may now reconsider going to World Champs next year in Finland :)
