With the Woodlands Marathon eight days away, aren't you pushing it by running 3+ hours on Friday? What happened to the concept of tapering? I don't doubt your legs are trashed...
Longer the race, the shorter the taper. But, last week was a taper week. Note that the longest workouts were barely 2 hours and the intense workouts were quite short. There's nothing wrong with the plan; I just don't have time to execute it properly.
Good luck on the race ... I'll be rooting for the home team ... saw you got 3rd in masters last year.
And first in Seniors! You're allowed to double dip in the paying positions.

Just received word that Eric did it again! 2:59:11 and 11th Place overall! Again First Senior (Grand Master) and Third Master...a couple of 40-somethings ahead of him.
