My favorite Cuban dish! It's what we had at our wedding, though with beef. Never had it with lamb but it's bound to be tasty. Side of fried plantains to go with it?

The recipe said it was usually made with beef, but it was very delicious with lamb. Alas, no fried plantains. Just rice and some sautéed broccolini. They do have broccolini in Cuba, right??

Since I've never actually been to Cuba I feel safe in saying that I've never been to a supermarket in Cuba that didn't have broccolini.

Nancy went to Cuba last year, so I could ask her if they had it in any of the restaurants.

Nancy says she doesn't know. So she didn't say that they don't have any. But I guess that means they don't put it in mojitos.

So, how was it? Was it one of the most delicious things you've ever had?

Yea, it was really good. And it was much better the next day. I was going to take a picture, but it wasn't so picturesque.
