Discussion: Pizza

My food goal this year is to try every pizza place in the Denver area. About half of the places listed on the "best pizza in Denver" lists are meh. But, Homegrown Tap and Dough on Gaylord (over by Wash Park) is absolutely nails on the best I've had yet and it's not close. Highly recommend the candied bacon, pineapple, and jalapeno.

awesome. thanks for the heads up. we love pizza and typically eat it once a week. we really like some places in littleton:
southside pizza - super small place close to use and the always have bottles of grapefruit sculpin.
walters - great pizza and beer
mckinners - downtown littleton and good pizza. solid beer but always the same.

we want to try parry's next. we've been there for beer (50 taps) but not for pizza yet. probably try it this week... and definitely adding Tap and Dough to the list.

Protos is my go to place by the house in Broomfield because it is great pizza and right next to Colorado Keg House which the deliver to when I am there drinking. There are other locations but have not been to them. http://www.protospizza.com/site/#Main
