Yes - the usual Crum/Smedley. But remember, about a mile is paved road/sidewalk. Can't seem to get to the 15 min./mile walk to use in ultras.

You were finally using your arms like I've been telling you to for 2 years??

You're under 15s in the effort pace ... pretty darned hard to get under 15s on anything but smooth road. You need a watch! Wait for your birthday and maybe one will show up, or I think I would recommend a Forerunner 25 for you. Simple, but pretty good battery life (10 hours), same as mine.

Or the mega Forerunner 920XT for FORTY hours of "Ultra" battery:

Gosh, maybe I should get one of those. ;) Maybe a present for myself if I meet my 1200 miles before Aug 13th goal.

See how I turned that into "about me"? :)

The Garmin Fenix 2 is pretty interesting, too:

50 hours! Massively on sale for $209 right now, too.

And that right there:

Is another excellent deal, if you can stand a WHITE watch.

Yes, I'll probably need one of these. The Garmin Forerunner 25 looks affordable. Something or other wrong with or too expensive the rest of them. OK coach.
