To comprehend that your sunny 2 degrees (celcius) today (according to attackpoint) compared with our 24 degrees (and rising) sunny day.

If it was 2 degrees here then I would be a Tash-popsickle.

Ha! Yeah, and when I climb Pikes Peak just to our West, it's legitimately -20 C up top. In January when I last summitted, the wind was so cold it froze my outer layer on my face and it was a true popsicle. Luckily my under layers were warm...ish. I couldn't pull the balaclava down to eat, and my food was frozen, so I had to shove the food in between my balaclava and face, and once it thawed, I would use my tongue to usher it into my mouth and eat it....It was messy, but worked, and a definite adventure. If you come to the US any time soonish, you should stay with us and climb Pikes with me!

It was 15C this morning and I put a jumper on. Silly aussies! Sounds like an awesome adventure - would love to come back to the US and do some climbing. I may need to do some serious training beforehand though - Western Australia is very flat. :)
