Well, I hope I can get in enough saddle time. 200 miles on a bike is uncharted territory for me.

Yes, everyone check those skewers! Tighten them if needed! I'm just glad I didn't try to do a bunny hop or something dumb like that on one of the descents. Eeek.

My longest ride pre-DK was 118 miles. I think if I'd been able to get in one 150ish ride before it might have made that last 50 less terrible, but once you get to that third checkpoint you can get there on willpower alone as long as nothing catastrophic happens. You're a strong rider. I know you can do it.

Those are some good data points. I had it in my head that something around 150 would be nice to do in advance but I didn't really have anything to back it up with. The willpower factor is also good to keep in mind. Thanks!!
