Best part of my day:
A couple that came back for a second weekend O course got hungry and went out on orange. It was hard, and they never found #4. But they seemed to have fun, and since it was quiet at the end, I enjoyed taking a few minutes to look at the leg and talk about some techniques to make it more of a sure thing...happy that it sounds like they'll be back.
And one of our new transplants is interested in volunteering (Gregor, I think, from Scotland).
Lots of good energy in this group. And with the kids and families, too. Always makes my Sunday. ;-)
Agreed. I'm consistently impressed with QOC events, both the quality and the attitude. It makes it so much easier to say "sure, I'll help out."
Awesome!! Back on the Green! Also agree on the QOC thing.
That does engender a pretty warm fuzzy feeling - thanks for sharing it more widely.
Thanks all! When I get down on myself for not executing an event perfectly, or when I allow someone to irritate and get the best of me, I will try to remind myself how great this community is - both close by and afar.
