In one way, that's the best kind of injury. No reason to think it will lead to anything long term or chronic. But I guess you've only got about a week for it to heal if you're going to CA.
Feeling noticeably better today, so I think the extrapolated trajectory is looking favorable. Still probably looking funny when I walk, and I'm icing it again, but although I don't feel up for a hike or a run yet, it would probably be okay for things like cycling or hang gliding. By next weekend, I'm guessing it will be a memory.
