interesting - I reckon not-road would be better (more direct if you do it right), but I reckon if I was running the course 'blind' I would have taken the road through not realising the climb was about the same.

And 2 minutes to take off a shirt? was there a dance routine involved? ...actually I think I'd rather not know...
