Great write-up -- thanks! I had the same thought about Jim, but think it's more likely that he is just really good at pacing himself. The difference between his starting and ending pace is minimal -- ours is pretty huge.
I just don't have the impulse control to not bite at the start; especially when the race is set like it was. It would be more pleasant but I think I am stuck with hoping that there is enough left in the tank to finish.
Top 4 men did well and thought the race out with good decisions. The Shuttle was a bit rough as along with a few other kinks but I already know how to fix those issues for next year. Thanks for the great write up!
