Those Italians just can't get into the holiday spirit. It's like Southie on Columbus Day.

I was in the North End last SP's day. Bars were busy as I jogged thru on my way to Charlestown. Was in Beantown for CME - fun and fondly recalled.

We did not really look carefully, just walking to the train station. But we were puzzled by 2 Irish bars, that seemed to be dead. But at 10:30 pm: was it perhaps too early for the festivities to pick up?
