Well, I figure walking with poles and spinning with no resistance is "off". It actually feels better after a light spin than if I just sit on my butt, but it's just mobilization, not for training purposes.
I found the light spin just to keep the joint moving was very helpful after I got my leg mashed.
I approve of spinning with no resistance. I'm not sure that walking to work is a great idea but I have to choose my battles. 'Bent is not able to sit still very long.
Hey, I'm only walking 1 way, slowly with poles. Beats driving as far as the dogs are concerned.
I agree, sitting is bad for you - but so is wiping out on ice. A vey real possibility today!
Traction was good in the bush- a light crust over wet snow. Poles and spikes were fine. I suspect the dirt roads are glass.
