Would recommend the Sca Fell Pike Trail Marathon as a cracker of a route too, much beautifulness

There's always Wasdale, Ennerdale, Buttermere, Duddon, Borrowdale. I think the former may have been an example of early hyperbole in running: "tallest mountain, deepest lake, biggest liar, toughest race, as Wordsworth may have once said"
