What persuaded you to go on the southerly route to 7? I think I'd have gone north, and saved the climb.

Didn't really look at the north route. Not sure it saved too much climb anyway. Looked fast going to the southern route choice, slightly more direct and just 25m more climb? was going to use the wall and line of rocks/crags to guide me in.

PS Like the ease of uploading the GPS file no adjusting necessary

Checking on condes, no more than 50m in it in terms of flat distance between north and south, possibly less depending on exact line taken (have to swing slightly more to bypass limestone). I'd have used flat area and boulders to let me contour in (bit like Mike Billinghurst). The two routes to the south were definitely, IMO, mistakes.
