Slitet comes from the word 'slita' (in both Swedish and Norwegian) and among other things means to try really hard. 'Sliten' (with an 'n') is probably what you´re after, which correctly means 'tired'. I think the word Sumpslitet is a word-game, it could both have something to do with swamps, but also the fact that the organising club is from Sundbyberg - a place called 'Sumpan' in everyday speak. |
