Last weekend you had some really solid splits. There was pretty much just one major mess up for each forest race which is really good because then it's easy to fix. You had some of the top splits for almost every control, especially on the last day, and sprint of course ;P

Not to bad with 4 years left for JWOC! Great start to the season :)

Thanks, I got to work on running hard in the race earlier on and running the speed I was the last third or so of the final race. Yes, looking forward for the next four years! You had a strong race though other then a few small errors it looked like.

I think you need to come at speeding up in a different way. Over the past several large races I've done with you, you've said the same thing. I think you may be thinking about the problem, not the solution. I would suggest trying to understand what's going through your head during the middle part of the races.

My guess is that you get too relaxed, and it's right when you're settling into the race. Maybe you need to try and remind yourself to continue at a high intensity or try to do something to reengage you're kick and drive.

Thanks, I'm slowly working on it, we'll kick some ass soon ;P

DD, let's talk about the middle of the course at some point. I almost always raced a similar approach. I almost always win the first split or two and finish strong. I've got some tips I worked through but it took time to approach it properly. I'll be at X league next week
