bubo: Check out this website. Most of the kids on this LEGO team are orienteers from my club Stora Tuna OK. Three of the boys placed 2-3-4 in H16 in the Swedish Youth Championships the past weekend (behind the unbelievable Albin - Borisīs club mate...).

barb: Wow! I'm totally impressed - and intimidated! We are total rookies, and are still sorting Lego pieces to set up the models! Well, we're sure to learn a lot in the next couple of months!

bubo: No intention to intimidate you - just pointing out there are a lot of smart orienteers around. I hope you learn a lot! I think itīs a great way to learn about problem-solving, report-writing, team work and such. Have fun!

cmorse: Hey Barb, what age ranges are the kids in your club? Jackson (3rd grade) just signed up to do a lego robotics club at his school. they're only accepting 10 kids though so I don't know if he'll get in yet but it would be neat to compare notes...

Drop me a note to let me know how its going (assuming you don't put it in your log...)

barb: We have 4th through 7th graders. It's definitely the same program - 10 is the limit they put on team sizes. Let me know when you find out if he gets in!
