Maybe just in a pipe dream but nevertheless climbing felt good so nice to get out that long! We need to all do that again soon

I found compression tights seemed to help support my knee a bit. Uphills were fine, but descending hurt.

It would be really good for you to practice taking a fair bit of weight on the poles for descending. It'll save your knee big time.

These are the poles we race with:

Not adjustable so you need to know your length.
You can borrow some adjustable ones from us for training and to figure out what works for you, but the black diamond ones are the best for racing. They don't last forever though- I have a repaired old set for training.
