Which watch do you have? It may be the file type you upload that gives mile intervals rather than splits recorded by you. I found that out when I got my new FR220.

Janet: Garmin Forerunner 310XT. Son Hugh will fix, I'm sure. Meantime, not critical.

Those are auto splits ... no splits recorded! *thumbs up* change to recorded splits to see no splits

If that means you need further explanation:

Your watch did not record any splits. AP automatically adds splits if there are none in the data uploaded (there were not). To see your track without splits, go to the session map, and from the pulldown menu that says 'auto splits: 1', choose 'recorded splits'. Voila! No splits.
