Slice: I saw the Hamilton version of that fog this morning too! Pretty cool!

Leanimal: The sad part is the "fog" closer to the horizon has a little bit of a yellowy-brown tinge to it....mmmm I wonder what that is all about?

Bash: Coincidentally, I've just finished reading the "Town of Caledon Regional Airshed Characterization Study". It's not public until next week's Council meeting, but in a nutshell, the study concluded that the air quality in Caledon is the same as Brampton or Newmarket, both of which have provincial air quality monitoring sites, so you can check the current readings at the MOE website.

Generally speaking, the worst air pollution we get here is ozone, which is invisible. But at the time we were biking, the predominant air contaminant was fine particulate matter, which may explain the yellowy-brown tinge that you noticed.

hansel: Ew - fine particulate matter. I hate when that gets all stuck between my toes and stuff. Nothin worse than FPM toe-jam.

Bash: Yeah, that and the "gravel in your eyes" phenomenon that some people experience if they ride to work really, really fast.

Bender: Nothin worse than FPM toe-jam.

Hansel - you must have forgotten about FPM in the hair ...I mean it's just so difficult to get out and makes the hair hard to manage.

hansel: Oh...don't even get me started!!

Bash: I thought Hansel's hair was supposed to look like that.
