| Bash: | Coincidentally, I've just finished reading the "Town of Caledon Regional Airshed Characterization Study". It's not public until next week's Council meeting, but in a nutshell, the study concluded that the air quality in Caledon is the same as Brampton or Newmarket, both of which have provincial air quality monitoring sites, so you can check the current readings at the MOE website.
Generally speaking, the worst air pollution we get here is ozone, which is invisible. But at the time we were biking, the predominant air contaminant was fine particulate matter, which may explain the yellowy-brown tinge that you noticed. |
