Unlike bears or dogs, turkeys don't make the run = prey connection. They only react to perceived threat, so not getting
closer to them should be sufficient.

Btw, did you encounter the hissing goose last week on the sprint course?

Far from your house, but not an O-event.

I'm pretty sure others saw the geese, since they were on a direct line between controls. I hissed back at it... (but got no closer) :-D
