I support you on the SI - suspect that people are still remembering when the units had to be reprogrammed before each event.

Could be that there won't be enough units, so will have to get them from the Sat event.

Good to hear that you are involved in setting. It sounds like the controller of this one may have been unable to test run legs or visit controls. Perhaps its time for the younger TT members to take more of a lead?
Was SI used for this one? One huge advantage is that you can get a wireless internet card and publish results from the event. Competitors can then view results and winsplits on their phone at the event or in the car on the way home.
