We went there for lunch one day! We were staying at Björkliden in Sweden but we just swung over to Norway for lunch. Because that's how we roll.

It's a gorgeous drive. You could do some reconnaissance for BAMM (great event).

And I bet there would be cinnamon buns in Björkliden! But unfortunately not my family :(

I can only imagine how incredible BAMM must be; the terrain and scenery around here are incredible. It would be pretty amazing to do an event like BAMM through here. Might have to look into it... We do end up in Sweden often...

BAMM was indeed fantastic but the scenery is more spectacular by the sea where you are. We spent a week backpacking on the Kungsleden trail, then took a couple of days off before the race. There was a high level of competition, and people seemed surprised and thrilled that we had come all the way from Canada. We have nothing like it in North America so it was totally worth it.

My son and his fiancee raced BAMM last year. Definitely something worth trying - unfortunately not with my knees...
