Are we still on for tomorrows workout:)? I'm considering doing an O meet as a tempo before the trackwork, so may have to adjust target times accordingly. Initially going with a VDOT of 50 (which only obtains from mile races for me), which would be 600@2:08, 400 @ 1:26, 300 @ 1:04, 200 @ 43. What do you think? I noticed that in the JD 800m section the 'fast' rep rate is just slightly faster than that. Also, I noticed the the mile-2 mile section is the only section that references Appendix D - 'High Stress Workouts', and that HS workout #2 is very similar to ours, except that it starts w an 800 and 2:30R. Cool!

Yes, I plan to be! Definitely feel free to invoke rule 1 subpart 1 aka flexibility! you could push a day out if your schedule allows.
Those targets are pretty much on for me too, although assuming 3R (?) I'll likely aim to knock off the 300 at sub 60 and 200 around 36
ps I need to check weather and temps for tomorrow.

Sadly no, however the recovery ice bath and jacuzzi is obligatory!

Keep it up. Really fun to watch the YFs pretend to still be speedsters, until they break. Make the most of it though as once the downslide starts, there is little that can be done to reverse it, unfortunately. Still can try, just the main idea is to forget the times from ancient history which at this point for me is only a year or two ago. How quickly things slide.

Quicker for some than others. I find 70's runners, however fast or slow, inspiring.
