Looks like a few controls were not exactly where the map said they were. I'm shocked.

...and a few tracks and contours that didn't exist either! You have to have a good imagination, and try to think how the course setter might think when placing controls.

The one rogaine I organized I had three significant complaints.

From a prominent adventure racer- Unfair because he should be able to see the control if he is within 50 metres of it

From a number of rogainers- the map was too easy because it was accurate.

From an orienteer or two that a control was misplaced.

The latter problem was fixed. It was due to a control placer using an old version of the course. I deemed it too hard to go out and bulldoze new tracks or to remove all mining features and vegetation that was obscuring controls.
