Discussion: hard

Sounds seriously tricky. A far cry from hamilton gardens! You are either more enthused for the next challenge or put off for life. Did the aucklanders make you feel welcome?

I wasn't put off , I wanted to finish all controls , even if it took me 4 hours , but ran out of time. Some competitors seemed a little unhappy at the map area. I talked a little to the Meads b4 the race (very welcoming and helpful) , and briefly to the sport ID guy (about o-lynx) but had to race off at the end to make Lani's pick up... Some competitors I bumped into while grabbing lunch at Kumeu said it was much harder than normal , but they may have just been being nice to me to stop me crying ...
