And not just because you're dealing with scary stuff, although thinking of you and your whole support network - which is clearly awesome, way to go, team! - but because we are about to tackle Turkey Mtn.
Jon has been coaching the course setters (I selfishly wanted to run, I have a love of the challenge West Point always presents), so I am anticipating deviousness and technical challenge in addition to the usual brutality of the terrain. I'm trading a run for a swim so perhaps I'll have a bit more oomph to keep up with the young ladies, to include Anna, who had the fastest family per km time last weekend. But most of all,I really love running on your maps. I judge every other rocky, mountainous map in comparison to your work, and it often comes up wanting. So know you are appreciated, and we'll be thinking of you this weekend!
Thank you for the very kind words, Tori. It makes an already sunny day here sunnier.
