dude... as you know... it's not just about the race. look at the build up you had. mega miles and volume with little rest... and you nailed it. your body for sure needs a mini break. I'd recommend getting on the bike more than running the next couple of weeks and if you lift weights keep it light. just my two cents.
Yeah, I need to bring one of my bikes to work. Just so easy to lace them up and head out the door than dealing with all the gear. I agree and know better.
