Discussion: Teaching hospital?

Is your hospital affiliated with a med school? I've gotten crowds of students at several hospitals, both military and civilian, although they usually ask first if there's a procedure involved.

No, not in that sense. Wyoming has no medical school but through UW has a program with some affiliates to provide for a small number of Wyoming students to go through other programs out of state, and then come back to Wyoming to serve.

Well, then you probably qualify for "hey, look at this!" in the medical world...my first trip to the Ft. Lewis ER was for a Bell's Palsy and earned all kinds of bonus attention for being unusual once it was determined I had not had a stroke. I'm sure such a magnificent Swampfox specimen is even more unusual, and therefore deserving of great interest!
