Chrissy saw me couple of days ago..about 2.25 into 3.5 mile run... so going at my good pace by then...she was in her car driving back streets home...she told me I looked like "I had trouble lifting my feet'...not 'You looked like an Olympic god or a young man or at least not a day over 60 instead 60 years 7 + months...

The thing is that describes how I actually feel running...

Tomorrow at 6:30 is the OKC Memorial Marathon races..25,000 runners for 5k, 1/2 and full marathon plus relay teams...pretty good crowd.

Thought Boston winning times were really slow...and 2:21 or so placed very high...I guess there was weather/wind or something and a weak field also?

I can relate to the lifting feet thing... it's a wonder I don't trip more often on trails.
Boston did have 17 mph headwinds I guess. And very warm.
I'm at about rock bottom...again. Gotta start hitting it hard.

I need to do at least strides...something...anything to get some turn over speed and perhaps allow me to lift my feet more...keep and me...

This has been the windiest year in a long time...this almost was the norm for awhile in the past...hope this gets over with and we have another extended period of calmer weather...

I'm not running some first miles as slow as during the winter when cold and all bundled up...

I'm looking forward to getting back on the infield at the UMD track. I do my drills, strides, lunge squats. Can't hurt.
We've been going through a long period of cold rain (30's and windy, rain...horrible.)

We've had nice temps for a long time...but two months of lots of wind...
