Such a nice cabin, and a great wine pairing with the hot tub! Very cool that they can fit an entire 50K race within that land.
It would be a fun place to go for some early season training. There are trails everywhere, tons of hills, beautiful cabins to rent, a restaurant onsite and mountain bike trails nearby.
I have a friend who has been organizing tri training weeks down in Asheville NC for about ten years now. Tons of good running and cycling, swimming etc.
It's also nice that you don't change time zones. For Asheville, it would just be a 2-hour flight, which is convenient compared to a lot of early season training destinations. We had a 2-hour flight to Charlotte + a 2-hour drive, which still wasn't bad.
What a gorgeous cabin and views!
Looked like a great trip!
another place to add to my LONG list!!
