Good luck with results from the injection, Charlie! I have the greatest sympathy for how debilitating a hurting back can be. For those who have never had to grapple with a bad back issue, it can be easy to think "how bad could ti be", without knowing that it can be truly really, really bad. So good luck again!
I'm glad to hear they ease the way for the injection with some Novocaine first. I've always wondered how painful those steroid and cortisone shots might be, otherwise.
This was not even at the threshold of uncomfortable. Just a tiny poke, less annoying than having a blood sample drawn. Now I'm wondering if he really did it. Not like I could watch him.
By overthinking, you just wiped out the placebo effect.
Well, I am pretty impressed with the placebo effect. This is pretty much the best I have felt since the recent acute episode started 12 weeks ago.
