I have a new way to pass idle time - dream of what I will get tRicky to do for me if I win the raffle. :-)

Hope you raise lots of money bloke and good luck!

I guess I should really advertise this in it's own discussion topic but...

Have a look at this link first http://orienteeringwa.bigcartel.com where you can take part.

We are fundraising not only for tRicky's trip to Portugal, but Jo Anna's O-trip to New Zealand and Henry's O-trip to Switzerland and of course the Juniors (soon to be Schools team) trip to the Nationals on the Sunshine Coast.

tRicky's fundraising is special in the fact that he is unemployed and therefore will be able to provide his own prize by way of services rendered. If I win the raffle I will be able to get him to mow both the front and back lawns and do some gardening!! Amazing.

Surprised to have received about 10 emails from different people stating that when they read the e-news they either laughed out loud, or spat out whatever they were eating/drinking at the time. Glad to have amused some and amazed at how many people have already put in donations for Jo Anna, Henry and tRicky :) Got to love our community!

Made me laugh and I couldn't resist a dig and thought this might give the whole thing a little more publicity. Great idea!

Orienteering does not lend itself to gardening, I have found.

tRicky doesn't lend himself to gardening either.

Although I'm one to talk - I have successfully killed off everything I have ever tried to grow in the garden. Including poor Moreens paw paw seedlings that she gave me as a present (I still think the cats ate them).

is there a distinction between who the funds are raised for or is it a collective pool?

tRicky:
Funny that Tash is going to get me to mow my own lawn if she wins. I did try to do it on the weekend but I can't get the mower to work.

I thought she was joking when she said last week that she was going to do this. I don't recall consenting to it at all.

tRicky should know by now that I oft tend to follow through with my threats. :P

'sides if our unemployed tRicky decides he doesn't want funds to help towards his Portugal trip then I can always ask our generous donors if they would like their money back - or prefer to donate it to the more appreciative Juniors who are facing an expensive trip to the gold coast for the nationals.

So yes there will be a distinction between the funds as advertised. Any excess funds for Henry or Jo Anna would go towards the Juniors.

In tRicky's case any excess funds would go to the rest of the Australian MTBO team as they are significantly underfunded due to budget cuts from the ASC.

Well the flights I bought for Portugal last week are making my bank account look a bit grim...

If you win, I will teach you how to beat the s**t out of motorcyclists riding on the bike path.

I hear that a few of my friends at work are getting together to track the culprit down. Got to love BookFace.
