Wow - you certainly saw the light quickly!

What can l say? It's a bit embarrassing even posting this.
I'm just a bit worn out and the pace was going to continue to be relentless. l only originally went in there on a casual basis and have stayed for nearly 5 years.
There are so many things l want to do and l'd like to have the energy to do them. Hopefully l'll also get a bit of contract work along the way.

If every day is Saturday, what happens to Sundays for going orienteering?

Good point :) l'm hoping to go to lots more events now. And the theory is that if l'm not so tired l won't fall over as much

"Contract ..along the way". A gentle reminder - this sounds very familiar (from you some time ago). But I think this time you have the benefit of knowing the pitfalls and may be a bit more guarded. rockman originally in early 2000 had a 2 day a week informal arrangement which lasted...2 weeks. Then became 5 and never even looked like anything less. Trouble was it was in Sydney and it was a "return" to home...from Mudgee. It lasted about 15 months then a real return to home.

Yes. I am finding the 2-day contract thing eats a bit more than that. Its a natural outcome of everyone else being on 5 days and having your email. No-one means badly. It just makes little holes in the other days. I am not yet willing to be disciplined and shut them out.

I honestly believe there are no part time or eg 3 day a week jobs. It just expands to fill the space and you get paid less.

Yes l agree. Invis - you aee a good man that way.
My concern is that l'm going to get nothing....

Yep. Thats the issue.

But that probably won't happen. I'm just being pessimistic
