When did he get so fast? I think it was sometime between March and May. I thought we'd gotten rid of the McNultys but now we have him to deal with.

He has been quicker than me for a few years :-)

To date, he's only been fast in WA, and then only in non-national events.

He's getting faster fast. At least I still beat him on Thursday, because while he got all controls he came back more than two minutes late.

Didn't he also go to a wrong light pole?

Simmo, I did mention that to him on the weekend although he also had one win over in SA (in a non-NOL event) although it was the equivalent of a H3 course against all the old people and a young guy who forgot to buy food for the weekend.

@simmo - He's been fast enough elsewhere to make national development squads (whatever their proper name is). So he's doing as well as any non-Mcnulty on the WA junior male side of things in the last 20 years.

@tRicky - 'twas funny to see Oliver and Angus (who had apparently requested that Oliver bring him some food) doing warmup sprints on the Monday with no evidence whatsoever of having run 20+km the day before!

Yeah we did all our food shopping in Port Augusta on the Friday night before heading up, trying to be organised. Then Oliver gets a text message from Angus on Saturday morning requesting he buy some food for him because he hadn't thought to bring any, even though he visited three shops on the way up in the search for gels. Juniors!

Well we did get Oliver washing our dinner dishes for us; in return for letting him go to the store (again) to buy food for Angus. So we were Winning! No complaints here :)
