Big thanks to Stars Orienteering, a small club that took on the big job of hosting the Ontario Champs for us! The three venues were quite different, fun and challenging, and all the areas were beautiful in springtime - if a bit chilly for May!
Sincere gratitude to Ian Sidders ("Sid" on Attackpoint) from DontGetLost who offered to take over as Event Director when the original volunteer was forced to step down for long-awaited surgery. It takes a special person to agree to act as Event Director for a championship hosted by another club.
Congrats to the Stars for certifying two new officials as they hosted this event, under the supervision of Nick Duca and Ilona Dobos. We look forward to enjoying more of their race courses in future.
