Indeed - I should know better. I was just intent on running as hard as I could until I blew it.
It was too much for my poor little mind. And I kept falling over stuff with the 1:7500 - I've never been much good at adapting to that scale.
I thought it was pretty good planning having your result at the British and leaving messing up to the following week.
