Only on 2 of your legs does your red lining it actually follow close to the red line. Maybe a new compass needed

I thought red line in Invis's case, is when he goes slow enough, his GPS turns red ;)

I was practising red lining this morning test running courses for next Saturday. Yes, my technique was found wanting. But I think a few others will be similarly found out on Saturday. When I just use the compass, the scrub was pushing me off line without me noticing. For a while I thought I must have got the map direction orientation askew. But on the third error I was left rather than right of the control. So I became a little more serious. When I aimed for middle distance points such as obvious trees, and was disciplined, it worked.
