more like unplanned stress day
I got lax. When I first got a Mac, they told me I wouldn't get viruses but that's old advice. Nothing bad happened (I don't think) but after a scare yesterday, I did some reading, installed an antivirus program and removed a few things.
Aside from that, I always have a few minutes each day when my right home row keys don't work. It's an old MacBook hobbling along (if I'm lucky!) until the next generation is announced, hopefully next month. Then I'll decide whether the next one will be Mac or PC.
It will be interesting to see what you decide. I want to want a Mac, and do, but the value seems so good on PCs, especially now that they have some good options in a smaller package.
One reason I don't have a new Mac already is that I was waiting in vain for them to bring back their 17" Macbook Pro. I love the big, beautiful display more than any PC laptop display I've seen. Other than that, I haven't developed a strong opinion on Mac vs. PC in almost 5 years of owning a Mac. It would be faster to move my system back-up to a new Mac so that's probably what will happen.
Yes, I have to grant Mac the best display award.
