How can the ABS make such a balls up? 6k instead of 7!!!!! Bloody hell - you've only got one job....

Apparently there was a witches hat at the 3.5km turn around, AND at the 3km mark, and the marshall was told to go out to the witches hat and turn people ... so she did - at the first one she came to.
Reminds me of the episode from 'The Games' with John Clarke where he asked the builder how long the 100m track was and the reply was 'about 100m'
