thanks, but I'm not that impressed, given that 6-8 weeks ago I ran a 600 in 2:08 and a 400 in 1:20. Cherry-picking times, of course. But I'm resigned, I trained hard and whatever I run, it is what it is. Probably pretty good, but not great, for a near 64-yr old. So now I can just enjoy the run!
Btw, I'll probably be doing the 800 the day before too, unless conditions are really awful. It'll be interesting to see how our races shake out. Something to build on.

yes, I'm viewing the STL 1500 like a practice race but more race than practice . . .
I think I signed up for the 400m which is also on Monday, because no extra cost, and good to get a tapered race time in the books.
