Hooked onto the table? Getting used to it? How does resistance feel? Any idea of stroke rate? Count for a minute next time and see. Holding 33-34 in Kayak but I think our sweet spot may be 36

Yes hooked onto the table legs and the seat is about 1.5 meters back. I find it great now that I've got the hang of it. It's pretty close to the action I'd use out on the water. The resistance is tough but not so hard that my technique suffers. The stroke rate feels faster than in the kayak. I'll count it next time!

Yeah my stroke rate is a bit higher too.

In the boat I was at 36 for the weekend but I'm generally 38-40 on the erg

I find the resistance is not as much as the water but you are getting no respite on the recovery arm so its constant work.

Great that you are getting a feel for it. It is pretty close to the action on teh water so no harm in a couple of hours a week on it
