Sounds like fun. Those temperatures would make a big difference in my case. Have you had enough time to get used to the warmer temps?

Yeah, "fun." I'm pretty sure 2 miles is about the most un-fun distance you can run. There is a lot of participation at this event, sometimes over 400 runners. Results will eventually be here.
Today was the hottest day of the year here, and although I've taken every opportunity to run on warm days, you're right, I'll be sweating more in another few weeks.
