I wonder whether I could keep up with your slow pace.
You're not thinking in the right terms. You would probably have a hard time going slow enough, unless you were dragging a 100 lb bag of cement or something.
On an average day, I think a 100 lb bag of cement goes more or less about as fast as I do.
Then we are well matched, Charlie!
What sorts of things are considered good offerings to the running gods? (Asking for a friend...)
If it's stuff like monastically-regular training and only eating stuff from one's own garden, I, errrr, my friend has a hard time with that.
But maybe...he... can drop some cash at the running store, or donate his old running shoes to charity if you think that will help.
New York style bagels. But never with onions or salt, which is sacrilege, and will enrage the gods to an unholy fury.
Which is faster, 100 lb bag of cement or 100 lb bag of bagels?
Cement. Pretty sure I am faster than a bag of bagels.
Not that it makes that much difference but----cement comes in 94 lb bags.
I think we have identified an opportunity in the market. Spinal Tap Cement Co. "Our bags go up to 100"
A substandard alternative to 101 Dalmatians.
