Ouch! Best wishes for a quick recovery! I'm sure you'll still be ready to kick some butt at Laramie.

Bummer! Hope you're not in too much pain. Get well soon!

It's always a good idea to avoid saying you're okay until you check it out a bit. A lot of injuries take time to appear. A long time ago my cousin hit his head after going over the handlebars. He said he was unconscious for an unknown period, but there was an eight-inch circle of blood drops when I saw it a few days later. I'd guess 1-5 minutes. Then he was aware and doing fine for 15-20 minutes. He was with an adult, Dick, who was considering taking him to the hospital, but he seemed okay. They went into the restroom to wash the blood off his face. After a few minutes, my cousin looked at the mirror and said, "What happened to my face?". Dick said it was really shocking, but the first words out of his mouth were, "Get in the car, we're going to the hospital." He was in the hospital for almost two days. It was a severe concussion. To this day (from maybe 30 years ago), my cousin has no recollection of the crash.
